Apologies for being on the quiet front
in the last couple of weeks, lots of changes have been happening! I was unfortunately struck with a head cold last week and I have also decided to start actively looking at places to move out to in the coming months. Luckily I have found something that's a two minute walk from the beach, so I am happy :)
Since my last blog, I have also decided with four other girlfriends to participate as a group in a ‘Do It In A Dress’ fundraiser, which raises money
and awareness to provide girls around the world with secondary education, as
not all girls worldwide have access to schooling or education.
Participants are required to do a
challenge in their school dresses, whatever it may be. Luckily for my friends,
family and readers, I give them the opportunity with every $10 or more they
sponsor to have their say in what the challenge may be. I am open to
suggestions but as ideas, I thought of:
1. Going out on a pub crawl wearing a
school dress and other appropriate schooling attire
2. Going to work casual clothes day
Friday in my school dress, or
3. Attending indoor soccer wearing my
school dress.
Please remember to keep it G-rated as we're
raising awareness, not skirts or underwear!
